The Fine Print

Referral program terms

  • check_circle$299 per qualified referral. A referral qualifies when the owner you refer signs a new property management agreement with SUM Property Management and we begin managing their property.
  • check_circleNo limit. There is no cap on how many people you can refer or how much you can earn.
  • check_circleNew clients only. The referred owner must be new to SUM and not already in conversation with us. Self-referrals and referrals of your own properties don't qualify.
  • check_circleSubmit before they sign. Use the form above (or have the owner name you) before the agreement is signed so we can credit you correctly.
  • check_circlePaid within 30 days. Your $299 is paid within 30 days of the referred owner's first managed month.
  • check_circleOpen to everyone except staff. Current SUM Property Management employees are not eligible. Where a referral fee involves a licensed activity, all parties must comply with California DRE rules.
  • check_circleProgram may change. SUM Property Management may modify or end this program at any time; referrals already submitted will be honored under the terms in place when submitted.
